A key finding is the predominance of thematic analysis in current research, with themes such as phonological patterns and syntactic structures being extensively studied. Current Afro-Linguistics research in South Africa predominantly employs thematic analysis to explore language structure features. Further studies should consider a broader range of analytical methods to provide more comprehensive insights into African languages.
