This study examines the policy implications of business research in African contexts specifically within Libya, a country experiencing significant socio-economic challenges. A qualitative approach was employed, involving a review of existing literature on business practices in Libya alongside interviews with local business leaders and policymakers to gather insights into current policy landscapes and gaps. The analysis reveals a strong emphasis on investment facilitation and regulatory compliance as critical areas for improvement, suggesting that targeted interventions could enhance economic stability and social cohesion. This research underscores the importance of aligning business strategies with broader socio-economic goals to achieve sustainable development outcomes in Libya. Policymakers are recommended to prioritise reforms in regulatory environments and investor protection mechanisms to foster a conducive climate for both domestic and international businesses.
