Abstract

DN with concurrent primary podocytopathy represents a distinct clinical entity characterized by nephrotic-range proteinuria, ultrastructural podocyte effacement, and favorable response to immunosuppressive therapy. Early renal biopsy incorporating FPW assessment enables targeted therapy to mitigate ESKD progression in this high-risk phenotype.
