Key Points

  • The aim is to explore how diagnostic constraint weight impacts the epistemic credibility of meaning-claims within Identity-Based Emotional Epistemology.
  • Introduced the concept of diagnostic constraint weight in the framework of IBEE™.
  • Analyzed interpretive systems for stability and vulnerability to degenerative integration.
  • Formalized relationships between constraint signals and epistemic degeneration.
  • Identified how meaning-claims gain or lose credibility under structured constraint exposure.
  • Demonstrated that interpretive stability can be compromised by excluded disconfirming signals.
  • Provided a structural explanation for the dynamics of identity-relevant meaning systems.

Abstract

This paper introduces the concept of diagnostic constraint weight within Identity-Based Emotional Epistemology (IBEE™). The framework models how meaning-claims gain or lose epistemic credibility under structured constraint exposure. The paper examines how interpretive systems preserve stability while remaining vulnerable to degenerative integration when disconfirming signals are excluded. By formalizing the relationship between constraint signals, falsifier admissibility, and governed risk exposure, the paper provides a structural account of interpretive stability and epistemic degeneration in identity-relevant meaning systems.
