Abstract

We present a novel methodology for analyzing the numerical structure of the Quran based on the digital root of the Abjad (gematria) sum of each of its 114 surahs. When surahs are grouped by their digital root, the resulting transformation map shows four distinct layers. Monte Carlo simulation (100,000 iterations) shows the complete pattern never occurs by chance (p < 0.00001). Cross-reading validation using the Warsh tradition confirms partial robustness. To our knowledge, no prior study has applied this methodology to Quranic gematria. All data and code are publicly available.
