Abstract

Subcellular marker staining is very important in clinical diagnosis and biological research. In this study, a peptide-protected platinum cluster probe with functional nuclear targeting was developed. The intrinsic fluorescence and catalytic properties of the prepared TAT-Pt cluster probe were characterized by tube experiments, and the dual-mode labeling imaging of nuclei was realized using the excellent fluorescence and catalytic activities of the prepared TAT-Pt cluster probe. The results suggest that the TAT peptide-protected platinum clusters are promising candidates for specific cell nuclei staining. These cluster probes provide an alternative choice for the labeling and analysis of single cell.
