ABSTRACT Hemodynamically stable children with duodenal obstruction caused by retroperitoneal hematoma after a seat belt injury can be successfully managed conservatively. Careful clinical and imaging monitoring allows nonoperative treatment and may help avoid complications associated with surgical intervention.
