Abstract

INDIANAPOLIS — Colleges and universities face ongoing pressure to demonstrate continuous improvement and successful outcomes. Meanwhile, more institutions recognize the significant influence that health and well‐being have on student success. Collaborative assessment efforts can play a critical role in this environment while simultaneously supporting well‐being and student success initiatives. That's according to an assessment practitioner and two health and wellness professionals from Bowling Green State University in Ohio who spoke at the Assessment Institute. Jessica M. Turos, Ph.D., is Associated Director, Office of Academic Assessment; Faith DeNardo, M.S.Ed., is Director of the Office of Health and Wellness and Title IX Deputy Coordinator; and Ashley Hartman, M.P.H., is Health Educator — Mental Health.
