Deliverable D5.5 - Report on monitoring activities

This document reports on the monitoring activities performed during and after the renovation works in the pilot building located in Via Acquicella Porto 27/H, Catania.The monitoring activities were intended to verify the thermal comfort in the apartments after the building renovation with the e-SAFE solutions, the energy performance of the new thermal systems, and the consequent energy savings. To this aim, a specific monitoring system was designed and installed to measure the indoor environmental parameters (air temperature, relative humidity) and the main relevant parameters for the thermal system (water temperatures, electricity consumption, electricity production from PV). Other measurements allowed to verify the U-value of the walls after the installation of the e-CLT panels. Finally, questionnaires were handed out to the residents to verify their degree of satisfaction with the duration of the renovation works, and the disruption they suffered because of it.
