Abstract

This paper describes hybrid vibration analysis using Statistical Energy Analysis(SEA)and FEM for two panels connected in L-shape with a crater-type acoustic black hole having a damping layer. We focused on the validation of the proposed SEA method and discuss the effects on the wave propagation characteristics between two panels in an L-shaped panel structure and effects of area of damping layers when the L-shaped panel structure was given a cratered black hole with a residual plate thickness.
