Abstract

Companion paper to the Finite Structured-State Transformation Principle theorem set. Version 1.0. March 2026. This paper derives the partition mode of the Finite Structured-State Transformation Principle: the conditions under which the mediating boundary of a finite partition can be physically reconfigured. The central result is a five-term biconditional over a reconfiguration increment that combines reconfigurable boundary difference, accessible opportunity, and physical budgets for formation, maintenance, and coordination. The paper identifies exact failure modes for partition and analyzes its meta-operational role in altering the conditions under which the other modes operate.
