Abstract

Modern institution networks, particularly those using WPA-Enterprise protocols, face security challenges often stemming from user behavior and device misconfigurations that can be attributed, in part, to the lack of informative and awareness initiatives from the host organizations. This work proposes APScavenge, a tool used to assess user security in enterprise networks. It provides network administrators with the ability to perform localized evaluations to understand the current state of user network security awareness and device configuration issues. Contrary to common methods that require human and time resources, APScavenge presents a convenient setup of its components for performing Evil Twin simulations, simplifying security assessments and subsequent analysis.
