Abstract

This research paper investigates the feasibility of using piezoelectric materials to generate electricity for charging small electronic devices such as mobile phones. Piezoelectricity is a phenomenon in which certain materials produce an electric charge when subjected to mechanical stress. This study focuses on understanding the relationship between applied force and the resulting electrical output, including voltage, current, and power. An experimental setup was designed using a piezoelectric element, and data was collected by applying varying levels of force. The results demonstrate that while electrical output increases with force, the overall power generated remains limited for direct phone charging without additional energy storage or amplification systems.
