Abstract

Purpose: This study examines the effects of the work environment and organizational commitment of beauty industry workers on their entrepreneurial intention and provides useful insights for launching beauty-related businesses.Methods: An online panel survey of beauty industry workers aged 20 years and above was conducted. Data were analyzed using SPSS 25.0, including frequency, correlation, and regression analyses.Results: The findings showed that the beauty industry’s work environment significantly increases entrepreneurial willingness and readiness, which are part of entrepreneurial intention. Moreover, organizational commitment also has a remarkable positive influence on both factors.Conclusion: This study indicates that entrepreneurs in the beauty industry startup sector can benefit from improved work environments and greater organizational commitment. In particular, because an improved work environment can stimulate employees’ entrepreneurial readiness, organizations must promote such developmental activities through internal mentoring programs.
