Abstract

This paper summarizes the use of two personality indicators for productive learning tasks in Intermediate English as a Second Language classes at a university in Japan. The paper gives the background and status of those indicators in popular culture as well as their relevance to undergraduate students. Further, it demonstrates how those tasks allow students to improve their speaking and writing skills while building vocabulary, developing critical thinking skills and reflecting deeply on fun, memorable activities.
