By Leliveld et al., page 3113. This review analyzes dairy cattle farmers’ perspectives on cow-calf contact (CCC) systems, aiming to identify common barriers and suggest strategies to overcome them. Dairy cattle farmers hesitate to adopt CCC, with their major concerns being economic viability, management and staff well-being, and animal welfare.
