Abstract

Young athletes generally regained acceptable levels of perceived QOL at 1-year postoperative following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. The presence of sport injury-related growth mechanisms may help explain these favorable trajectories and should be considered when interpreting postoperative outcomes.
