Key Points

  • The aim is to predict how photons with orbital angular momentum interact with chiral molecules based on their twist.
  • Utilization of the Torision-Information Pattern (TIP) model for predictions
  • Analysis of photon interaction based on handedness of twist
  • Exploration of right-handed and left-handed isomers
  • Right-handed twist photons interact more with right-handed isomers (D)
  • Left-handed twist photons interact more with left-handed isomers (L)
  • Potential confirmation could provide evidence for the torsion component of light

Abstract

English version: Within the framework of the Torision-Information Pattern (TIP) model 1–5, a testable prediction is formulated: photons carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) should interact selectively with chiral molecules depending on the sign of their twist. Photons with right-handed twist (positive topological charge) will predominantly interact with right-handed (D) isomers, while photons with left-handed twist (negative topological charge) will predominantly interact with left-handed (L) isomers. If confirmed, this effect would provide direct experimental evidence for the torsion component of light and the reality of TIP, as well as offer an explanation for the phenomenon of homochirality in living nature.
