Abstract

ABSTRACT An effective visible light‐mediated, eosin Y‐catalyzed synthesis of isoxazoles from diphenylpropynone with hydroxylamine hydrochloride via intramolecular cyclisation has been developed, offering a simple, sustainably viable, and green approach for obtaining a wide range of substituted isoxazoles under mild reaction conditions.
