Ambulatory blood pressure monitoring is superior to clinic blood pressure for predicting cardiovascular events, regardless of type 2 diabetes status.
These findings suggest that ABPM is a better predictor of cardiovascular risk than clinic BP, and that this holds true for patients with or without T2DM.
