Abstract

The relatively high excitation, low surface brightness nebula NGC 6445 (8 + 3?l) shows a spectrum characterized by strong lines of He ii A4685, Ne iii as well as 0 ii A3727, S ii, 0 1, and probably N ii. The observational data strongly suggest an excess of helium. Subject headings: abundances, nebular - planetary nebulae
