Abstract

科学衛星・探査機は打上げ後の保守が不可であり,かつ苛酷な宇宙環境に曝されるため,搭載部品には初期不良を除く品質と,温度・放射線・真空といった外的要因に耐える信頼性が要求される.宇宙用部品の活用により高品質・高信頼を確保できるが,先進的な観測機器の開発などでは宇宙用部品だけでは機能要件を満たせない場合がある.このため我々は宇宙用部品と,追加の選別・評価を施した産業用部品を適切に使い分けている.本稿では部品選定の指針と判断基準を概説し,宇宙用と産業用部品の品質保証の差異や,宇宙利用特有の信頼性要求への評価・対策を解説する.更に近年進展する超小型機開発における部品適用の動向と課題にも触れる.
