Key Points

  • The study aims to explore the assembly of silver nanosheets into a highly conductive and stretchable nanomembrane.
  • Utilized partially overlapped silver nanosheets to form junctions.
  • Assessed electrical connectivity during stretching.
  • Employed controlled assembly techniques for nanomembrane creation.
  • Achieved a nanomembrane with exceptional conductivity.
  • Maintained electrical connectivity under stretching conditions.
  • Demonstrated isotropic stretchability and mechanical robustness.

Abstract

2D Silver Nanosheet Assembly for Nanomembranes Partially overlapped silver nanosheets form robust face-to-face junctions that remain electrically connected during stretching, preserving conductive pathways. This controlled 2D assembly enables an ultrathin, isotropically stretchable nanomembrane with exceptional conductivity and mechanical robustness.
