The emergence of the unusual G6P[6] rotavirus A strain highlights the need for epidemiological surveillance during the introduction of vaccination in Gabon.

Abstract

These findings improve our knowledge of circulating enteric viruses in Gabon. The emergence of unusual G6P6 strain of rotavirus A, predominant, suggested a particular epidemiological surveillance of circulating rotavirus strains during the introduction of vaccination in Gabon.
