Abstract

Abstract A multiple comparison rank sum test, for the simultaneous comparison of all pairs of treatments in a one-way classification with equal numbers of observations, is presented. An example is worked and tables of critical values are given. Computation of probabilities for the general case of unequal numbers of observations is considered and means, variances, and covariances are given for this case.
