Abstract

Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of the "One Disease, One Product" specialist nursing model on sleep quality and quality of life in elderly hemodialysis patients. Methods A total of 118 elderly hemodialysis patients treated in our department from May 2023 to May 2024 were included in the study and randomly divided into two groups. Fifty-nine patients who received routine nursing during treatment were assigned to the control group, while another 59 patients who received routine nursing combined with the "One Disease, One Product" specialist nursing model were assigned to the observation group. The improvements in sleep quality and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results Before nursing, there were no significant differences in sleep quality and quality of life between the two groups (P>0.05); after nursing, the scores of all dimensions of sleep quality and quality of life in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The "One Disease, One Product" specialist nursing model can significantly improve the sleep quality and quality of life of elderly hemodialysis patients on the basis of improving their condition.
