Drawing on exercise physiology and circadian science, the model applies principles of progressive stimulation, recovery cycling, and nutrient synchronisation to the dermal collagen network. Central to the framework is the alignment of regenerative interventions — including microneedling and energy-based therapies — with the late-morning fibroblast activation window (8–11 a.m.), when cortisol naturally declines and collagen synthesis responsiveness peaks. The night-time regeneration phase, governed by growth hormone and IGF-1 activity, is identified as the intrinsic recovery period requiring nutritional and circadian support. The Skin Fitness model is structured around seven adaptive principles: stimulation, intensity cycling, comprehensive activation, nutrient supply, regeneration, hormonal balance, and consistency.
