Abstract

The mechanisms traced across the first five essays are no longer theoretical. In March 2026, they became operational simultaneously in two domains: geopolitics and the relationship between AI companies and state power. Drawing on the live Anthropic–Pentagon episode and concurrent geopolitical shifts, this essay demonstrates that the correction window is not a future risk — it is narrowing now, in real time. The pattern of institutional failure described throughout the series has closed into a single observable moment. Essay 6 of the series Beyond Control: Theory of Limits of AI Governance by Oybek Khodjaev (INVEXI LLC, Tashkent, Uzbekistan). Full text: https://okhodjaev.com/essays/the-pattern-closes/
