Abstract

Brain Organoids In their Research Article (10.1002/adfm.202516238), Il-Joo Cho, Nakwon Choi, Seok Chung, Hong Nam Kim, and co-workers, by mimicking the long-range, unidirectional connections between distinct regions of the human brain, reconstruct a region-to-region, one-way pathway in an in vitro brain model. This platform demonstrates anisotropy-guided, one-way propagation of electrical activity, neuroinflammatory responses, and neurotoxic proteins.
