Abstract

In this study, as a basic study of hydrogen co-firing in a kerosene gas turbine, the flame of a kerosene/hydrogen mixed combustion burner was visualized using a flame reaction method. Furthermore, the temperature distribution of the flame was visualized by utilizing the property that the luminescence intensity of the flame reaction depends on temperature, and the higher the flame temperature, the stronger the luminescence. As a result, it was found that the temperature of the hydrogen co-firing flame was higher overall compared to the kerosene flame, and the high-temperature region shifted from the inlet side to the outlet side.
