Abstract

This document presents the Cesar Sosa Cognitive Framework Series (CS-CFS), an interdisciplinary research program focused on cognitive mediation, neurodiversity, and Artificial Intelligence (AI)-mediated learning. The framework integrates qualitative, phenomenological, and epistemological approaches to propose a reconceptualization of Special Education beyond deficit-based paradigms. It introduces a cognitive-singular perspective, in which learning is understood as a dynamic, relational, and meaning-oriented process. The CS-CFS is structured around interconnected conceptual domains, including: Cognitive-Compatible Communication Morphocognition Artificial Intelligence as a mirror-tool Neurodivergent digital self-regulation Continuous Pedagogical Observation The Hummingbird Effect as an embodied indicator of cognitive activation The framework is grounded in the PH.D08-25 case study, which provides empirical support through longitudinal observation of AI-mediated learning processes in a neurodivergent student. This document constitutes the foundational theoretical architecture of the CS-CFS and serves as a reference for ongoing and future research within this program. The CS-CFS is conceived as an open and evolving research program aimed at developing new conceptual models in the fields of inclusive education, cognitive science, and human–AI interaction.
