Abstract

The purpose of the study is to assess, on the basis of simulation modeling, the extent to which the choice of sequence of radio transmitter sessions affects the performance of athletes with different levels of running fitness. Research methods and organization. Methods of analysis and summarization of scientific and methodological literature, as well as a pedagogical experiment, were used. During the experiments, the numbering of RT (120 possible permutations for 5 RT) and the running speed of three model athletes (1.92; 2.32; 2.72 m·s⁻¹) were varied. The time to complete the distance was recorded both taking into account and disregarding the cyclicity of the transmitters' operation. Research results and conclusions. It has been found that with a session schedule unfavorable for a particular athlete, time losses can reach 10 minutes or more compared to the optimal numbering. It has been shown that the optimal sequence for including RT is individual for each running speed. Considering the possibility of detecting RT during the pause between sessions reduces losses but does not completely eliminate the problem. Planning RT work sessions is a significant factor affecting the objectivity of results. Since it is impossible to select a single numbering optimal for all participants, it is necessary to search for compromise solutions when planning distances.
