A new national pathway for integrating mental health within neurology services has been developed. This pathway is part of a suite of optimal neuroscience clinical pathways that have been developed by the neurological community, with the support of NHS England and the National Neurosciences Advisory Group. This article highlights why this pathway is required and how neuroscience nurses can support its implementation.
