Key Points

  • The aim is to derive the framework of strong interactions from first principles without empirical assumptions.
  • Utilized the first-principles UD field action to define coupling channels and color structures.
  • Analyzed changes in symmetry and renormalization effects at high and low energy scales.
  • Derived electric charge assignments for quarks and examined confinement via classical soliton solutions.
  • Established a triplet color gauge group with eight massless gluons, confirming U(3) invariance.
  • Produced quark charges of +2/3 and -1/3 through the UD charge operator.
  • Reproduced the one-loop beta function coefficient of -11/3, establishing asymptotic freedom.

Abstract

We establish the full framework of strong interactions entirely from the first-principles UD field action, without introducing empirical gauge structures, color hypotheses, fractional charge assignments, or confinement postulates. At the fundamental high-energy scale, the condensative field possesses three linearly independent coupling channels, which uniquely define a three-dimensional internal color triplet structure. In the low-energy limit, background freezing induces dynamical coalescence of two expansive channels, while the high-scale triplet topology remains structurally preserved. Infrared renormalization-group flow suppresses residual symmetry breaking, restoring complete U(3) invariance, and localization of this emergent symmetry yields the SU(3) color gauge group with eight massless gluons. Combining color degeneracy, proton charge normalization, and the mutual containment principle, the UD charge operator produces the unique physical solution for quark electric charges +2/3 and −1/3. Static nonlinear field equations admit a classical soliton flux-tube solution that naturally realizes color confinement with analytic string tension σ=λ/(4π). The emergent pure Yang–Mills theory reproduces the canonical one-loop beta function coefficient −11/3, confirming asymptotic freedom. This work completes a self-contained, parameter-free, first-principles derivation of strong interaction physics, providing a fundamental underlying origin for all core QCD structures.
