Abstract

In the population of cows of the Belarusian Black-and-white breed polymorphism of the mannose-binding lectin (MBL1) gene was found. The genotypes MBL1TT, MBL1TC and MBL1CC were detected. The frequency of occurrence of alleles and genotypes for the mannose-binding lectins gene was determined. The milk productivity of cows with different genotypes for the mannose-binding lectins gene was studied. The positive effect of the MBL1C allele and MBL1CC genotype on the indicators of dairy performance in cows was defined.
