Key Points

  • This research aims to evaluate the potential of two new diterpenoid alkaloids to inhibit nitric oxide production.
  • Evaluated nitric oxide production inhibition using LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages.
  • Isolated two new diterpenoid alkaloids from Aconitum legendrei for testing.
  • No isolated compounds exhibited significant inhibition of nitric oxide production in the tested macrophages.

Abstract

evaluation of nitric oxide (NO) production inhibition by these compounds was conducted using LPS-stimulated RAW 264.7 macrophages as the experimental model. The results demonstrated that there are no isolated compounds that display a prominent inhibition of NO production.
