Archaeological Evaluation Report: Geophysical Survey by Magnetometry and Earthwork Survey on Land Off Front Street, Ulceby

Allen Archaeology Limited was commissioned by Keigar Homes to undertake a geophysical survey using magnetometry and an earthwork survey on land off Front Street, Ulceby, North Lincolnshire, as a condition of planning consent for a residential development. The survey has identified a number of potential archaeological features of interest, including the positive linear/amorphous features within the southeast corner of the site. The alignment of these features, roughly north to south and east to west, along with their size and shape is suggestive of a former structure, potentially with a number of defined rooms within.
