Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is one of the most promising technologies that has captured the attention of industrials and academics in recent years. This technology offers a huge add value to many sectors such as home automation, transport, energy and especially health. However, IoT-based healthcare suffers from several security issues that are varied from other domains in terms of methodologies, motivations, and consequences, due to the complexity of the environment and the nature of the deployed devices. This paper provides an overview of the most recent security issues for IoT-based healthcare. Particularly, we discuss the probable threats and vulnerabilities, and we provide a new classification of cyber-attacks that may affect the healthy functioning of such infrastructures.
