Anthropomorphic metaphor as an element of Miguel de Unamuno's individual author's style in the collection of poems of 1907

The study presents an analysis of anthropomorphic metaphors identified in the poetic works of the famous Spanish writer, poet and philosopher M. de Unamuno, published in 1907 in the collection "Poesas". The importance of anthropomorphic metaphor as an element of the writer's idiosyncrasy and a key tool in the creation of M. de Unamuno's poetic texts is determined. The role that anthropomorphic metaphor plays in the poems of the collection is analyzed. Special attention is paid to the peculiarities of using this stylistic tool to reveal the ideological and philosophical content of the works of M. de Unamuno. Part of the study is devoted to the functioning of anthropomorphic metaphor in combination with other stylistic means and the analysis of the frequency of this phenomenon in the writer's works, as well as its role in creating an individual author's style of the writer. The study was conducted on the basis of a functional and pragmatic method of analysis. The method of functional-pragmatic analysis combines the features of functional and linguopoetic methods and is the most suitable for this type of scientific research, since it allows you to pay closer attention to some extralinguistic factors that influenced the individual author's style of the writer. The study revealed 25 anthropomorphic metaphors in 95 poems in the collection. The frequency of their use is established and the conclusion is made about the regularity of the author's use of this stylistic tool. It is concluded that anthropomorphic metaphors significantly affect the perception of the ideological content of the writer's works. Animating inanimate objects and abstract concepts with the help of this stylistic means, Unamuno expresses his attitude to life and death, to the motherland, the mutual opposition of life and sleep and other key concepts of his philosophy. In addition, it is concluded that M. de Unamuno's poetry is characterized by the use of anthropomorphic metaphor in combination with a number of other artistic means, such as epithets and lexical repetitions.
