Abstract

This thesis analyzes the constitutional foundations of the rational use of natural resources in Uzbekistan, their inextricable link with environmental safety and sustainable development from a scientific and legal point of view. The new Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan recognizes natural resources as a national treasure, stipulates the need for their rational use and state protection. This norm creates a basis for understanding resources such as land, water, subsoil resources, flora and fauna not only as objects of economic interest, but also as strategic values that ensure the interests of present and future generations.
