Abstract

By interrogating the OPA phase shifters (PS) sequentially with a double ramp-like excitations, we are able to measure and correct the phase error of each PS in unprecedented short time, i.e., seconds instead of hundreds second as in recursive methods that look at the total signal out of the OPA antennas. The new method, to our knowledge, has shown excellent performance.
