Mobile technology changed how people utilise technology and provided opportunities to benefit from public services from anyplace and at anytime. Using mobile phones to access public services, and especially SMS-based services, are crucial to reach citizens anywhere anytime. This study tried to explore Jordanian citizens' perceptions towards using m-government. Using a questionnaire, an empirical test was conducted to investigate the influence of six predictors on the intention to use m-government. Results indicated significant support for the influence of perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, social influence, perceived responsiveness, and perceived compatibility, but not for perceived cost of service. Conclusions, implications, and future work are discussed at the end of this paper.
