Key Points

  • The aim is to characterize ammonia storage sites in H-SSZ-13 and Cu-SSZ-13 with varying molar ratios.
  • Conducted NH3 sorption experiments using in situ DRIFT spectroscopy
  • Performed NH3-TPD flow reactor experiments
  • Investigated different Si/Al and Cu/Al molar ratios
  • Identified distinct ammonia storage sites specific to H-SSZ-13 and Cu-SSZ-13
  • Revealed the influence of Si/Al and Cu/Al molar ratios on ammonia storage capacity

Abstract

In this study, the nature of ammonia storage sites in H-SSZ-13 and Cu-SSZ-13 with different Si/Al and Cu/Al molar ratios is characterized by NH 3 sorption experiments using in situ DRIFT spectroscopy, and by NH 3 -TPD flow reactor experiments.
