This whitepaper articulates the educational framework necessary to prepare humans capable of living, working and prospering in extra-terrestrial environments during the period 2030-2070. Six specific curricular domains are proposed (extreme operational autonomy, mental health in prolonged isolation, reduced-gravity physiology, intercultural and inter-planetary communication, generalist technical self-sufficiency, ethics of colonisation), a scalable modular training programme, considerations on the first generation born off Earth, and implications for national educational systems aspiring to export talent to the space economy.
