AbstractThe contemporary debate surrounding the Greatest of All Time (GOAT) in men's tennis has been structuredalmost exclusively around the absolute volume of Grand Slam titles. This conventional methodology carriesa significant physical survival bias, omitting critical variables such as the efficiency rate per participationand the competitive difficulty of each draw (Strength of Schedule). This paper introduces a statisticalframework that: (1) isolates Rafael Nadal's injury-forced absences to construct a health-adjusted careerprojection; (2) reconfigures efficiency averages by applying surface-neutralization filters; and (3) quantifiesthe competitive difficulty faced on the path to each championship. The results demonstrate that, undermetrics of pure efficiency and head-to-head dominance within Grand Slams, Rafael Nadal's legacy occupiesa dimension of competitive superiority unparalleled in the Open Era.
