Key Points

  • The aim is to investigate how different heat treatment conditions affect the microstructure of FeNiCoAlCrB high entropy alloys.
  • Samples are heat treated at 1150°C and 1250°C for 1 hour each.
  • Microstructure is analyzed for gran morphology and grain size.
  • The microstructure at 1150°C shows different gran morphology.
  • Samples treated at 1250°C exhibit larger grain sizes.

Abstract

This study is to investigate the microstructure of the FeNiCoAlCrB high entropy alloys under different heat treatment conditions. The microstructure of the sample heat treated at 1150°C for 1 hour shows different gran morphology. The sample after heated treatment at 1250°C for 1 hour show the large grain size.
