AbstractThis paper demonstrates the use of event history analysis and reports on the correlates of service outcomes for the HOMEBUlLDERS model of Intensive Family Preservation Services (IPPS). The paper focuses on the use of the proportional hazards model, the assumption of proportionality, methods for dealing with violations of proportionality, and implications for collecting event data.
