Human-centered intelligent vehicles: toward multimodal interface integration

Many prototypes of intelligent vehicles integrating extremely advanced information and control subsystems have been built and proposed, each with its own interface. The paper presents an overview of the concepts and principles of, and approaches to, the design of interfaces for equipment in future intelligent vehicles.
