Abstract This chapter explores how technological innovation is changing the kinds of skills and knowledge used in the workplace and how two‐year colleges are responding to these changes. It features examples of new and emerging practices in Wisconsin's technical colleges that situate learning in settings designed to meet the needs of learners and their communities.
