Abstract

In Hospital 4.0, the efficient management of clinical workflows is a fundamental element for intelligent healthcare systems. Electronic Health Records (EHRs) need to ensure that processes are semantically interoperable to represent clinical pathways accurately. The openEHR Task Planning specification provides a set of standards that allow systems to define dynamic workflows in a structured format. Therefore, this paper aims to present a Clinical Task Planning Platform capable of visualizing and managing clinical tasks based on openEHR. The solution focuses on the representation of different task group structures and decision branches, enabling true workflow understanding. A validation scenario demonstrates the system’s capability to dynamically interpret and visualize complex clinical pathways, validating the proposed solution as a functional building block for Hospital 4.0.
